Easter – Wielkanoc

Easter – is one of Poland’s most important religious feast. Celebrations start on Palm Sunday (Niedziela Palmowa) and go for the whole Holy Week (Wielki Tydzien’) until Easter Monday (Poniedziatek Wielkanocny). A solemn breakfast on Easter Sunday ( Niedziela Wielkanocna) features the consecrated food, including the painted Easter eggs. (jajka wielkanocne).
