Labour Day (May 1st) – S’wie~to Pracy - possibly the most important non-religious holiday in communist Poland, celebrated with mass parades. It’s nowadays a low -profile event.
3 May – Constitution Day – Swie~to Konstytucji – this holiday commemorates the constitution of 1791, passed in Warsaw on the 3rd of May (and commonly referred to as such.) It was the world’s first fully liveral constitution after the one in the U.S.
